Once a Year, From Heaven

How many times when walking down the street have you looked down to see some money?  Is it someone else’s, is it yours?  Often, we decide it is ours; finder’s keepers loser’s weepers.  But, what to do with it?  Starbucks here I come, maybe it is a lottery ticket, or money towards the electric bill (yeah, right).

Hey!  It is found money let’s go shopping.  But is it found money?  Maybe we were supposed to have that money all along.

Once a year, the Heavens above ordain how much money we will earn in the coming year.  So, while an anticipated cash in-flow did not occur, maybe it was not supposed to. 

Ah, you say, “I know my salary and I tell you my expenses are running $10.00 over that.”  So, take a look around for that $10 bill; perhaps it is yours.

My advice:  Before running out the door to spend that new found money, think about it.  Think, you were intended to get this money and you are expected to spend it wisely.
